Juliet, Naked - Nick Hornby
Ahahaha!!!! Massa.
“I read enough fiction to know it’s detail that makes a story seem real..” (p.67).
“ ‘I’m telling you that my… art is inauthentic. Sorry. Let me rephrase that. I’m telling you my rock album is a fake bunch of crap.’
‘And you think that matters to me?’
‘I wouldn’t like it if I found out John Lee Hooker was a white accountant.’
‘Is he not?’
‘He’s dead.’
‘You see, this is all news to me. Anyway, what you’re saying is I’m an idiot.’
‘Huh? Where did that come from?’
‘Well, I’ve listened to it hundreds of times, and it still doesn’t feel to me as though I’ve emptied it. So I must be daft. It’s all just facts, isn’t it, as far as you’re concerned? It’s a rotten album, fact. And if I can’t grasp the facts, then that makes me stupid.’ ” (p. 202)
“‘Don’t knock people with passions’, said Ros. ‘Especially passions for the arts. They’re always the most interested people’
Everyone had succumbed to that particular myth, it seemed.” (p. 38)
“Forty-one minutes later, he was scrabbling around his pockets for something he could use as a handkerchief when a middle-aged woman came over and touched him on the arm.
‘Do you need someone to talk to?’ She said gently.
‘Oh. Thank you. No, no, I’m fine.’
He touched his face – he’d been crying harder than he’d realized.
‘You sure? You don’t look fine.’
‘No, really, I’ve just… I’ve just had a very intense emotional experience.’ He held out one of his iPod headphones, as if that would explain it. ‘On here.’
‘You’re crying about music?’
The woman looked at him as if he were some kind of pervert.
‘Well,’ said Duncan. ‘I’m not crying about it. I’m not sure that’s the right preposition.’
She shook her head and walked off.” (p. 28).

Wicked Lovely - Melissa Marr.
Gostei não, muito não. Até parei no segundo. Começa tão legal, e depois, splash, afunda. E olha que para eu dizer isso...
Dark Lover - J. R. Ward
Bad, very bad.
Ink Exchange - Melissa Marr
A continuação do Wicked lovely.
Airhead - Meg Cabot
Tentei ver Meg Cabot fora da mediadora. Deu não, acabei lendo em fastfoward.
The Forty Rules of Love - Elif Shafak
“The speed with which human relations materialized and dissipated amazed Ella more than ever, and yet she tried not to pass judgment on other people anymore. (…) She had discovered that once she accepted that she didn’t have to stress herself about things she had no control over, another self emerged from inside – one who was wiser, calmer, and far more sensible.” (p. 175).
“The past is an interpretation. The future is an illusion. The world does not move through time as if it were a straight line, proceeding from the past to the future. Instead time moves through and within us, in endless spiral.
Eternity does not mean infinite time, but simply timelessness.” (p.216).
“… not expecting much and at the same time feeling open to all possibilities.” (p. 325).
“Why do we have to fight everything?”Aziz wanted to know. “We’re always talking about fighting inflation, fighting AIDS, fighting cancer, fighting corruption, fighting terrorism, even fighting extra pounds… Don’t we have any other way of dealing with things?” (p. 326)..

A Bone to Pick - Charlaine Harris
(Aurora Tiegarten book – n. 2)
(Aurora Tiegarten book – n. 2)
Cirque du Freak: A Living Nightmare - Darren Shan
(Cirque du Freak, 1)
(Cirque du Freak, 1)
“Imagine: a real-life vampire! I used to believe they were real but then my parents and teachers convinced me they weren’t. So much for the wisdom of grown-ups!”(p. 110).
Filmes
Simplesmente Complicado (It’s Complicated). Nancy Meyers, US, 2009. Com Deinha e Panis. Eu quero aquela cozinha!!!
O Amor Acontece (Love Happens). Brandon Camp, US/Canada/UK, 2009.
Jim Sheridan, US, 2009.
Lembranças (Remember-me). Allen Coulter, US, 2009.
Ilha do Medo (Shutter Island). Martin Scorsese, US, 2010.
Um Sonho Possível (The blind side). John Lee Hancock, US, 2009. Leigh Anne me lembrou tantas mulheres incríveis que conheço, muito legal.
Coração Louco (Crazy Heart). Scott Cooper, US, 2009. Crazy Jeff em filme muito querido.
Como Treinar seu Dragão (How to Train your Dragon). Dean DeBlois, Chris Sanders, US, 2010. Fofo.
